About MALAN
OUR STORY
MALAN Art Studio was founded in Brisbane, Australia by Shen Izon, with the belief that fashion can carry meaning beyond what we wear.

Before MALAN began, Shen was already part of a mission in Muzon, Bulacan — working alongside her family and local church community to provide school supplies for children.
After stepping away from her corporate career, Shen built MALAN as a way to sustain and grow the mission — transforming creativity into impact.
What started as a small creative project — painting on bags to fund this work — grew into a purpose-driven wearable art studio, where each piece is hand-painted and created individually.

Today, MALAN transforms bags, denim, and garments into wearable art inspired by heritage, identity, and personal stories.
OUR MISSION
MALAN creates wearable art with purpose.
Each piece is hand-painted and one of one — designed not only to be worn, but to carry meaning through culture, storytelling, and craftsmanship.
Through art, MALAN redefines fashion as something that creates impact beyond aesthetics.
OUR PURPOSE
MALAN exists to fund education for children in Muzon, Philippines.
Every purchase contributes to providing school supplies and creating opportunities for children and their families — continuing a mission that began long before the brand itself.
The long-term vision is to grow MALAN into a foundation that can fund scholarships and expand its reach to more communities.
Every piece carries purpose — art that gives back.
