Empowering Filipino Youth Together

Supporting children in the Philippines has been part of Shen’s life since she was 16. After leaving her corporate career in 2025, she founded MALAN to continue funding these outreach efforts through her art. Since then, MALAN has slowly expanded its reach, supporting more children and communities.

Funds directly support long-term educational initiatives and community fellowship activities.

Clothing, toys and school supplies bring practical support, comfort and smiles during our seasonal gift-giving events.

Empower Through Funding

Your financial contributions directly support school supplies and a feeding program ahead of the July school opening, as well as Christmas gift-giving and feeding activities for children in the Philippines.

Physical Gift Donation Guide

We are collecting essential items to bring joy and comfort to kids in underserved Filipino communities. The items most needed are new or gently used clothes and educational toys for children aged 3-12.

  • Shipping & Drop-off: Contact us via Instagram, WhatsApp or email to discuss shipping and drop-off arrangements.

  • School Supplies Deadline: Please ensure all school-supply donations reach us by 30 April.

  • Christmas Gift-Giving Deadline: Please ensure all Christmas donations reach us by 15 October. Items will be shipped to the Philippines on 20 October to arrive in time for the Christmas event.

Impact and Transparency

We are committed to using every contribution responsibly to support the children and communities involved in our outreach activities. Financial contributions are used for school supplies, feeding programs, gifts, shipping, transport and event logistics. Donated items are carefully sorted and distributed during our community events.

  

After each outreach, we will share photos and updates so supporters can see the meaningful impact of their contributions.

MALAN Art Studio is currently registered as a business and is not yet registered as a not-for-profit organisation or charity. Establishing and maintaining a not-for-profit organisation in the Philippines involves significant financial and administrative responsibilities, which we are not yet in a position to undertake.

We remain committed to operating openly and responsibly as we work towards this future goal.
